When you look into the eyes of an animal you do not see an animal. You see a living being.

We provide the care for that living being.

About

Dr. Rafael Seda Lozada was born on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. He doesn't remember a time in which he did not want to be a Veterinarian. Pursuing his dreams, he obtained his Bachelor degree in Veterinary Technology from University of Puerto Rico in 2006. He was accepted at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and decided to completely move with his wife and three children to Alabama to finish his doctorate degree. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012 and was elected to be part of the Tuskegee Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. He also received the Bayer Award for Excellence in Veterinary Clinical Parasitology, and the Novartis Animal Health Award for Academic Excellence. Shortly before graduation he accepted a position in Spring, Texas to work as an Associate Veterinarian for a corporate company. This experience helped him develop a special love for preventive medicine and surgery. For him, preventative medicine is the best medicine, and client communication and service is necessary to keep our pets healthy. Dr. Seda is married to Wilnelia, and a very happy father of Jose, Jazira, and Kenai. His family is completed with 3 Rottweilers. Dr. Seda is also bi-lingual (English and Spanish). For him, family is priority number one, and he feels our pets are family. That vision brings him to Dallas, TX, with the opportunity to do what he loves: practicing Veterinary Medicine. He is looking forward to meeting all of you and your pets, serving the community where he decided to make his permanent home.
